Aramco, one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, teamed up with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team to launch the collaborative “Make A Mark” initiative in Shanghai, prior to the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix.

The joint effort between Aramco and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team aims to push the limits of possibility both on and off the track. Experts from both sides worked closely together to help develop a series of joint STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) initiatives to engage and inspire the next generation of technicians, engineers, and drivers.

The “Make A Mark” initiative welcomed 20 local students for a day of immersive tutorials, featuring technical exhibitions, demonstrations, and discussions on F1® racing, aerodynamics design, material innovation, and the future of lower-emissions fuel technologies.

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team’s Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins and Team Ambassador Pedro de la Rosa led a karting tutorial, sharing their inspiring journeys and insights with the students in attendance.

Rania Biltagi, Aramco Manager of Marketing, Partnership and Sponsorships, stated: “We are delighted to see the ‘Make A Mark’ initiative unfold in China through our partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team.
