The round four of the five-part Aramco Team Series (ATS) 2023 events has concluded in Hong Kong as a resounding success. It is the first time a professional women’s golf tournament has been held in Hong Kong since 2019.

The Aramco Team Series is committed to the ideals of sporting equality and the empowerment of women.

“ATS presents a wonderful opportunity for all the competitors to shine — to display teamwork, commitment, and excellence. Those are core values at Aramco, and it is why we are so proud to support ladies’ golf,” said Mutib A. Al-Harbi, Aramco Asia President. “As a company, we bring energy to the world. And with our support for the Aramco Team Series, we are bringing new energy to this great sport.”

The tournament also featured a new golf format which is a Pro-Am that paired one professional with three amateurs. It was especially meaningful as it drew together Aramco partners, some of whom played in the event as amateurs and others who joined at hosted events.

Mutib A. Al-Harbi, Aramco Asia President delivered a speech at Aramco Team Series-Hong Kong Draft Reception on October 4, 2023.

“The Pro-Am day gives our valued sponsors and partners the chance to witness sporting excellence,” said Mushabab Al Qahtani, Aramco Asia China Country Manager. “The Hong Kong Golf Club opened its first 18-hole course way back in 1911. This historic setting has made me think about Aramco’s own proud history, particularly as we commemorate our 90th anniversary this year. And while we celebrate the past, we also look ahead to the bright future — not only for our company but also this great sport, which continues to grow in the fertile soil of close friendships and lasting partnerships.”
