Aramco continues to support education in China’s Fujian Province

Meshal Al-Kharboush, Vice President, South China Portfolio Management Department and Xiamen Branch Manager, delivered a donation on behalf of the company to Quangang District Education Development Foundation of RMB 520,000 on October 29, 2025. 

The fund is dedicated to support Quanzhou Quangang District No.1 Middle School in terms of its facilities upgrade.

Representing Aramco, Al-Kharboush received an appreciation plaque from Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park Management Committee. 

He noted: “Quangang has witnessed the vitality of Fujian's petrochemical industry. The remarkable transformation of Quangang is encouraging, and we are confident for future collaborations. During the high-quality development, we believe education remains a priority. We hope the fund could add value to the students and the education in Quangang.”

Aramco has been dedicated to support education, social welfare and environmental stewardship in Fujian. 

In 2024, Aramco launched mangrove conservation project in Xiapu and Shenhu Bay, Fujian to promote sustainable development. It aims to plant 87,500 mangrove seedlings within three years and hold 7 campus mangrove science popularization activities to raise public awareness of conservation.

Starting from the academic year of 2025, Aramco has expanded a major education initiative of “Science Class” to bring hands-on learning course to thousands of primary school students in Jieshan, Tuling and Nanjing in Fujian .
