The Aramco Sports Zone will returns to the Formula 1® Chinese Grand Prix in 2026, highlighting Aramco’s continued commitment to youth development, cross-sport collaboration and sustainable innovation.

The Sports Zone reflects Aramco’s ongoing partnerships with Formula 1®, the CBA League, and the Yao Foundation, aligning elite global sport with long-term community investment through the Shoot for the Future initiative.

As part of this year’s program, youth representatives from the Yao Foundation will attend the Chinese Grand Prix in person and join CBA legends Yang Ming and Liu Wei, together with F1 driver Fernando Alonso, in a special exchange event. The initiative highlights the shared values of excellence, discipline and teamwork across different sports.

The initiative will also highlight the advancement of women in sport, with participation from women's world nine-ball championships Pan Xiaoting and Shi Wei (Tie Dou) from F1 Academy, reinforcing the importance of expanding access and opportunity for young female athletes.

Consistent with Aramco’s broader energy leadership in China, the Sports Zone will showcase advancements in sports surface materials, building on previously unveiled community courts in China incorporating innovately recycled plastic working with Aramco’s chemiclas arm, SABIC.

Aramco Asia President Saleh Al Zaid said:

“It is exciting to once again partner with Formula One® and bring the Aramco Sports Zone to the Chinese Grand Prix for another year. This collaboration, and our wider partnership with the Yao Foundation, CBA and our chemicals arm, SABIC, on the Shoot for the Future’ community court revamp project, embodies Aramco’s proud 35-year history of energy leadership in the Chinese market. We look forward to continue working with the Yao Foundation and the CBA to take this project forward, positively impacting the lives of many more.”

Xu Jianbin, Department Head, Business Operations, CBA Company said:
