“Shoot for the Future” court revamp officially unveiled at Hailiang Rongai Star Community in Zhuji

• Aramco Partners with Yao Foundation and the CBA to Advance Inclusive Sports and Youth Development

On the eve of the 2026 CBA All-Star Game, Aramco, one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, together with the Yao Foundation and the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), officially unveiled a newly renovated “Shoot for the Future” community basketball court at Hailiang Rongai Star Community. 

The unveiling was accompanied by a CBA+ Cares Tour community engagement activity. Representatives from Aramco, the Yao Foundation, the CBA, local government, and the school attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, partners reaffirmed their shared commitment to enabling communities and empowering young people to follow their dreams through this initiative. 

The upgraded basketball court at Hailiang Rongai Star Community marks continued progress in the partnership between Aramco and the Yao Foundation and represents another milestone under Aramco’s “Shoot for the Future” basketball court revamp initiative.

Following the ceremony, the CBA+ program delivered a dedicated basketball training session for students. CBA All-Star players Hu Jinqiu and Zhao Jiwei led training and friendly matches with students from Shifang Central School, Fujian and Hailiang Rongai Star Community, while CBA All-Star head coach Wang Bo provided professional guidance courtside. The students demonstrated enthusiasm, teamwork, and strong sportsmanship throughout the session.

Li Li, Secretary General of Yao Foundation, stated:

“Sport is the most vivid and inspiring classroom in a child’s growth journey. We have always upheld the belief that every child—whether in urban or rural areas—should have equal access to quality sports education and the opportunity to pursue their sporting dreams. The newly delivered basketball court today is not only a professional, safe, and innovative sports facility for the children at Zhuji Rong’ai Garden but also serves as a bridge connecting more rural project schools nationwide—such as Shifang Central Primary School in Fujian—with top-tier sports resources. Through learning fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, children can experience focus and perseverance, teamwork and responsibility, as well as the passion and determination that define competitive sports.”

“The completion of this court significantly enhances our campus sports infrastructure and provides strong support for physical education and daily training. It will encourage more students to actively participate in sports and experience the positive impact of physical activity.”
