Waste sorting
We launched "Hand-in-Hand Waste Sorting Charity Project” in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian province in 2021. This awareness raising program was in collaboration with Ifeng.com Charity Special Fund, and targeted families living in the Huli District.
Aiming to enhance understanding of the importance of waste recycling among children and their parents, the 12-month campaign featured a variety of activities like science communications, campus talks, community theme day, environmental protection brochures and community forums. By June 2022, the program has covered 50,000 students in 55 schools, bringing impact to some 400,000 family members.

Mangrove conservation
Aligned to aramco’s global mangrove rehabilitation stewardship efforts, the project aims to contribute to our sustainability efforts to protect the biodiversity of our land, seas, and coastlines.
By adopting a conservation land in Haimen Island and Xiapu, apart from mangrove restoration, invasive species and marine litter cleaning, the conservation program also focuses on related education program to raise awareness and understanding among local community about the importance of the function and the value of mangroves.
