Providing basic medical counseling to underprivileged children

Our Initiatives in China

Through partnership with China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC) and ifeng.com Charity Special Fund, the “Children Benefit Program” was launched to provide basic medical checkup to underprivileged children across China.

Medical staff from top level hospitals like Capital Institute of Pediatrics, Beijing Tongren Hospital, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, and Beijing Hospital of Traditional Medicine offered professional checkups and primary healthcare consultation in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, stomatology, ultrasonography and laboratory. Advanced medical exams are also offered for those who have been diagnosed with potentially severe health conditions.

By end of 2021, the program has benefited a total of 6,140 children from eleven provinces and regions of Hebei, Liaoning, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Fujian, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Tibet. Among them, 112 kids diagnosed with severe health conditions have received advanced treatment like surgery.
