Business Development Specialist:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
A. Develop and review the key transaction agreements with the support of Law.
B. Conduct and lead the due diligence and other transaction supporting activities.
C. Provide transaction oversight and management for downstream investments in China, in compliance with GI 30.001 and other internal guidelines.
D. Provide expertise and leadership in negotiation and finalization of all definitive agreements, and preparation of handover to the business owner after the signing of transaction agreements.
E. Contribute to joint venture development, including but not limited to reviewing the key deliverables like Feasibility Study Report (FSR), General Design Report (Pre-FEED) and Basic Design Report (FEED).
F. Help screen business proposals by using the pre-defined filtering criteria.
G. Support the development of economic/financial models for moderately complex business ventures.
H. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Line Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related majors.
B. Minimum of 15 years of work experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in business development; industry expertise or knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing preferred.
C. Experience of M&A or joint venture development works preferred
D. Able to multi-task and deliver on time
E. Strong communication skills and analytical thinking
F. Good proficiency in MS office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills being preferred.
G. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
H. Excellent oral and written proficiency in English & local language.

Geophysical Consultant:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Conduct in-depth advanced geophysical analyses of seismic data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface imaging.
- Serve as a consultant on seismic problems that require a high degree of skill and experience for the sake of optimum geophysical solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor to assigned professionals and researchers as is necessary to adequately perform work assignments.
- Prepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geophysical studies for review by management.
- Review and supervise work of other geophysicists critically and submit essential recommendations.
- Assist in training the less experienced geophysicists through discussions and work sessions.
- Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD degree in geophysics/ physics/ mathematics/ computer science.
- Minimum 10 Years working experiences in the oil industry is a must.
- The experience should include hands-on technical work, such as developing computer algorithms, providing technical support and processing geophysical data.
- Skills and experience in people and project management required.
- Excellent communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are essential.
- Be recognized as an expert in his field with a track record of publications with impact on peer-reviewed technical journals.

 

Strategic Transportation Analyst:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist to foster professional relationships with government, local and international research institutions and industrial partners.
- Track the forthcoming policies/regulations/standards; assist to analyze their impacts on fuel and petroleum demand.
- Participate in various transportation strategic studies aimed at understanding the interplay between future engine and fuel technologies and global energy demand / supply landscape.
- Participate in applied research studies related to fuel requirements of advanced and future transportation engines.
- Assist to prepare materials for patents, make presentations, and publish technical papers or articles in peer-reviewed journals and other public media.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Line Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in fuel or other related science with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in fuel related major.
- Experience in building consensus with governmental, regulatory, and standards organizations is a plus.
- Knowledge of the impact of fuels on transportation engine performance and emissions.
- Knowledge of engine technology development trends.
- Knowledge of fuel formulation, fuel characterization methods, fuel blending techniques, refining, and chemical processes.

 

Business Analyst:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Internal Control
- Provide and record operations performance data with particular emphasis on portrayal of trends.
- Communicate with operation team effectively and understand all the company policies and practices that the business demands and ensure compliance.
- Prepare routine or special reports for department management review and approval.
- Conduct studies relating to technical or business analysis, productivity and effective utilization of funds and resources or other areas of concern.
- Develop master appropriation of laboratory and office equipment.
- Work with corporate group in maintaining the flow of business information to assist Department Head in keeping operations, manpower, and financial budgets within established programs and standards.
- Engage internal auditors for the systems audits.

Finance
- Review all the expense reports.
- Ensure a backup manual process is in place in the event of system outages and work in close proximity with Finance and the Department operations team in the event of system outages.
- Review monthly payroll process and other HR relative issues.

Contract & Procurement
- Handle contract work such as auditing invoices from contractors, interpreting contract provisions, checking correctness or arranging corrections.
- Update and follows up the existing purchasing plan and ensure engagement of relevant parties.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Line Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or Financial Management or a technical degree related to the hiring dept.
- 2 years' experience in management of operating costs, budgets, or related activities;
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
- Thorough working knowledge of operating area of assigned department.
- Must have ability to perform statistical and problem analysis while working under time constraints.

 

Policy &Industry Research Analyst

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist to monitor business, market and regulatory trends relevant to Asian petroleum/downstream industry, other related industries, and Aramco Asia’s business needs.
- Assist to research Asian petrochemical/ downstream markets in a macroeconomic and policy/regulatory context in short- and long-term.
- Help develop and maintain relevant databases and models for forecasting market trends and scenario analysis.
- Help formulate market analysis relevant to Aramco Asia’s interests as well as informed opinions on business activities.
- Based on the above, help issue market and policy/macro reports on a wide variety of Asia energy/downstream related topics, periodically and ad hoc.
- Temporal focus is the short - to long-term (next 1 month to 20 years).
- Engage in a wide range of other project or JV related analysis activities.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum & Chemicals, economics, business administration, or international relations is required. A Master’s degree is a strong plus.
- At least 5 years of energy /downstream market or other market research & analysis experience, with proof of a track record in the form of reports and memos or other research efforts. In case of an education level higher than a Bachelor’s degree, the minimum requirement for work experience is 3 year.
- Good knowledge of Asia’s macroeconomic, political and industrial environment, at least for several countries in the region.
- Near native-level English writing skills and good oral communication skills are a must, and the candidate should have a solid command of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Prior modeling experience is a plus.
- Working-level fluency in Chinese, Japanese or Korean is a strong advantage.
- High degree of flexibility, a proactive work attitude, and a keen on-the-job learning ability are desired.

 

Marketing Manager:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Identify crude and LPG sales opportunities and maintain existing sales for SAO in China.
- Take responsibility of entire relationship management of designated customer portfolio.
- Frequently meet customers and each year visit several end-user refineries for intelligence gathering. If requested, lead department’s delegation during such meetings.
- Proactively assist COSMD in their supply contract negotiations and operational problem solving with customers.
- Implement COSMD’s market strategy on the ground, including promotion of certain grades and volumes, convincing customers to adjust shipping schedules, etc.
- Support the OSP and LPG CP pricing reports with unique insights and shape their narrative. Give similar support to other periodic and ad-hoc reports issued by the department.
- Represent ABS and/or as a speaker/presenter at industry events.
- Provide mentorship to younger colleagues and guide their work to ensure that their input serves the marketing efforts. Delegate work to junior colleagues effectively to maximize value of own worktime use.
- Help to formulate departmental KPI, design their implementation strategy, and supervise execution of this strategy.
- Participate in conferences, seminars and other industry events.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in petroleum economics, economics or other business-relevant field, or MBA.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil market, energy trading, downstream operations or other relevant industries.
- At least 10 years of real business experience with marketing oil or other energy products.
- Excellent business contacts within domestic/regional industry.
- At least 5 years of experience with training and guiding junior staff.
- Excellent skills in both spoken and written English.
- Excellent skills in using Excel.
- Ability to present one’s ideas clearly to colleagues, company management and external audiences.
