Auditor:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist in determining whether organizational units in the company are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or control activities in compliance with management instructions, applicable statements of policy and procedures, and in a manner consistent with both company objectives and high standards of administrative practice.
- Assist in determining records or activities to analyze, the extent of tests to apply and the working papers to prepare, as well as planning work on assigned segments.
- Recommend the means of obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of control and on the efficiency of performance of the activities reviewed.
- Assist in performing the audit in accordance with the approved program and in a professional manner, i.e. review transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness
- Hold preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify facts and to obtain explanations of and reasons for such apparent deficiencies.
- Prepare acceptable working papers which record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment.
- Report audit findings and make recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvement of operations, and reduction of cost.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Line Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or other relevant professional certification is preferred.
- 3 years’ relevant accounting/auditing experience.
- Proficient oral and written English.
- Thorough knowledge of professional accounting theories and practices.
Business Development Specialist:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Develop and review the key transaction agreements with the support of Law.
- Conduct and lead the due diligence and other transaction supporting activities.
- Provide transaction oversight and management for downstream investments in China, in compliance with GI 30.001 and other internal guidelines.
- Provide expertise and leadership in negotiation and finalization of all definitive agreements, and preparation of handover to the business owner after the signing of transaction agreements.
- Contribute to joint venture development, including but not limited to reviewing the key deliverables like Feasibility Study Report (FSR), General Design Report (Pre-FEED) and Basic Design Report (FEED).
- Help screen business proposals by using the pre-defined filtering criteria.
- Support the development of economic/financial models for moderately complex business ventures.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Line Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related majors.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in business development; industry expertise or knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing preferred.
- Experience of M&A or joint venture development works preferred
- Able to multi-task and deliver on time
- Strong communication skills and analytical thinking
- Good proficiency in MS office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills being preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in English & local language.
Geophysicist:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist with investigations into basic geophysical problems related to hydrocarbon exploration.
- Assist in general geophysical analyses of seismic as well as other related geophysical data.
- Conduct, under supervision, advanced geophysical analyses of seismic data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface imaging.
- Assist to prepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geophysical studies for review by management.
- Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in geophysics/ physics/ mathematics/ computer science with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in above majors
- Working experiences in the oil industry is preferred but is not a must.
- Must have general knowledge and ability in one or more of the geophysical disciplines used in hydrocarbon exploration.
- Skills and experience in people and project management are also preferred.
- Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are important.
Strategic Transportation Analyst:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist to foster professional relationships with government, local and international research institutions and industrial partners.
- Track the forthcoming policies/regulations/standards; assist to analyze their impacts on fuel and petroleum demand.
- Participate in various transportation strategic studies aimed at understanding the interplay between future engine and fuel technologies and global energy demand / supply landscape.
- Participate in applied research studies related to fuel requirements of advanced and future transportation engines.
- Assist to prepare materials for patents, make presentations, and publish technical papers or articles in peer-reviewed journals and other public media.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Line Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in fuel or other related science with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in fuel related major.
- Experience in building consensus with governmental, regulatory, and standards organizations is a plus.
- Knowledge of the impact of fuels on transportation engine performance and emissions.
- Knowledge of engine technology development trends.
- Knowledge of fuel formulation, fuel characterization methods, fuel blending techniques, refining, and chemical processes.
Marketing Coordinator:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Monitor Chinese oil market in the context of department’s business operations, and provide business-relevant data and information to colleagues proactively.
• Maintain industry databases, review data and reports published by the department for informational accuracy.
• Help draft business and analytical reports and emails under the supervision of senior colleagues.
• Assist senior colleagues in managing and solving operational issues raised by customers and COSMD.
• Participate in customer relationship building, such as customer visits, meetings, and conferences.
• Help set up meeting venues, conferences and other business events.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by senior colleagues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics or Engineering. A Master’s Degree or MBA is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil market, energy trading, downstream operations or other relevant industries.
• Excellent skills in both spoken and written English.
• Excellent skills in using Excel.
Asia Counsel:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Recommend legal solutions with regard to employment law related issues and immigration matters. Prepare, for approval by Aramco Asia Chief Counsel, legal opinions and advice. Assist in examining the law and facts pertinent to legal problems.
- Coordinate communication with SAO organizations and internal Aramco Asia customers. May be first line of contact for internal and external general enquiries made to the Aramco Asia Chief Counsel.
- Liaise with outside counsel in reference to Aramco Asia claims, disputes and litigation. Participate in preparation/review of documentation, legal notices, court briefs and letters. Collect relevant evidence and information. Recommend solutions. Coordinate communication with all parties involved.
- Identify local law statutory requirements pertaining to corporate compliance. Perform extensive and complex research for Aramco Asia Chief Counsel by gathering relevant information and documents and compiling legal data from diverse sources including other Divisions, SAO organizations and external sources. Makes recommendations and apply solutions upon clarification with Aramco Asia Chief Counsel. Provide follow up to appropriate Aramco Asia Divisions to ensure compliance with agreements, Aramco Asia internal guidelines and policies.
- Perform support duties requiring knowledge of and familiarity with legal resources and practices in the Asian areas in which Aramco Asia offices and Aramco Asia projects (including development of joint ventures)operate (including Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other Asian locations).
- Prioritize incoming work, prepare weekly reports to Aramco Asia Chief Counsel regarding worked performed, if required.
- Prepare on behalf of Aramco Asia Chief Counsel legal documents, forms, presentations, reports and letters.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized accredited institution, with qualification to practice law in a recognized acceptable jurisdiction. A J.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign academic institution with admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or country of the foreign institution is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in an in-house legal department or within a law firm. Advanced qualification(s) or other work experience may be considered to contribute as work experience.
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written. Language skills in other areas in which Aramco Asia conducts significant operations is a plus, language preferences include Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure.
