Geologist
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description:

  • Principal Duties:
    - Assist with investigations into basic geological problems related to hydrocarbon exploration and/or reservoir characterization.
    - Assist in general geological analyses of seismic as well as other related geophysical data.
    - Conduct, under supervision, advanced geological analyses of geophysical data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface mapping.
    - Assist to prepare, under supervision, reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geological studies for review by management.
    - Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise.
  • Minimum Requirements:
    - Bachelor degree in geology with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in geology.
    - Have substantial expertise in few of the geological disciplines used in hydrocarbon exploration and reservoir characterization.
    - The experience may include hands-on technical work, such as basin and numerical modeling.
    - Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking).

Petroleum Engineer
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description:

  • Principal Duties:
    - Participate in Chemical EOR research studies.
    - Perform chemical evaluations for chemical EOR, including core flooding tests or chemical synthesis.
    - Assist to develop experimental procedures and methods.
    - Assist to interpret and analyze lab data and prepare experiment reports.
    - Assist to provide technical support and assistance for chemical EOR field applications.
    - Participates in technical societies and technical groups.
  • Minimum Requirements:
    - Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent) with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in above majors.
    - Must be able to work in the Chemical EOR lab.
    - Ability to interpret lab data and provide technical support for chemical EOR operations, including QA/QC, application of state-of-the-art technologies and troubleshooting.
    - Familiar with PE software applications, including Matlab, CMG, Eclipse, UTChem.

Geological Consultant
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description:

  • Principal Duties:
    - Conduct in-depth advanced geological analyses and initiate as well as promote new innovative geological ideas.
    - Serve as a consultant on geological matters that require an unusually high degree of skill and experience for the sake of optimum earth solutions.
    - Act as a technical advisor to assigned professionals and researchers as is necessary to adequately perform work assignments.
    - Prepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geological studies for review by management.
    - Reviews and supervises work of other geologists occasionally and submit essential recommendations
    - Assist in training to less experienced geologists through discussions and work sessions.
    - Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise.

    Minimum Requirements:
    - PhD degree in geology or other related sciences.
    - Minimum of 10 years working experiences in the oil industry.
    - The experience should include hands-on technical work, such as developing and evaluating geologic modeling and basin analysis as well as providing responsible technical supports.
    - Skills and experience in people and project management required.
    - Have a track record of publications with impact on peer-reviewed technical journals.
    - Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are essential.

Geophysical Consultant
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description:

  • Principal Duties:
    - Conduct in-depth advanced geophysical analyses of seismic data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface imaging.
    - Serve as a consultant on seismic problems that require a high degree of skill and experience for the sake of optimum geophysical solutions.
    - Act as a technical advisor to assigned professionals and researchers as is necessary to adequately perform work assignments.
    - Prepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geophysical studies for review by management.
    - Review and supervise work of other geophysicists critically and submit essential recommendations.

    • Minimum Requirements:
    - PhD degree in geophysics/ physics/ mathematics/ computer science.
    - Minimum 10 Years working experiences in the oil industry is a must.
    - The experience should include hands-on technical work, such as developing computer algorithms, providing technical support and processing geophysical data.
    - Skills and experience in people and project management required.
    - Excellent communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are essential.

Strategic Transportation Analyst
Location: Shanghai, China
Job Description:

  • Principal Duties:
    - Assist to foster professional relationships with government, local and international research institutions and industrial partners.
    - Track the forthcoming policies/regulations/standards; assist to analyze their impacts on fuel and petroleum demand.
    - Participate in various transportation strategic studies aimed at understanding the interplay between future engine and fuel technologies and global energy demand / supply landscape.
    - Participate in applied research studies related to fuel requirements of advanced and future transportation engines.
    - Assist to prepare materials for patents, make presentations, and publish technical papers or articles in peer-reviewed journals and other public media.

    • Minimum Requirements:
    - Bachelor degree in fuel or other related science with 3 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, fresh Master graduate in fuel related major.
    - Experience in building consensus with governmental, regulatory, and standards organizations is a plus.
    - Knowledge of the impact of fuels on transportation engine performance and emissions.
    - Knowledge of engine technology development trends.
    - Knowledge of fuel formulation, fuel characterization methods, fuel blending techniques, refining, and chemical processes.
