Business Development Specialist:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Develop and review the key transaction agreements with the support of Law.
- Conduct and lead the due diligence and other transaction supporting activities.
- Provide transaction oversight and management for downstream investments in China, in compliance with GI 30.001 and other internal guidelines.
- Provide expertise and leadership in negotiation and finalization of all definitive agreements, and preparation of handover to the business owner after the signing of transaction agreements.
- Contribute to joint venture development, including but not limited to reviewing the key deliverables like Feasibility Study Report (FSR), General Design Report (Pre-FEED) and Basic Design Report (FEED).
- Help screen business proposals by using the pre-defined filtering criteria.
- Support the development of economic/financial models for moderately complex business ventures.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Line Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related majors.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in business development; industry expertise or knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing preferred.
- Experience of M&A or joint venture development works preferred
- Able to multi-task and deliver on time
- Strong communication skills and analytical thinking
- Good proficiency in MS office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills being preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in English & local language.
Joint Venture Manager:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Formulate solutions and recommendations, and provides central direction and control over complex JV business matters, including possible synergies.
- Serve as a focal point of contact between Saudi Aramco and the JV.
- Evaluate, summarize and make recommendations on the JV Board agenda items, including Business Plans, Operating Plans and Capital programs.
- Review and keep abreast of finance, marketing, political, business environment, technical trends, local and corporate news, and other factors affecting the JV.
- Organize, mobilize, and direct company resources in the solution of specific JV problems as the need arises.
- Originate and/or evaluate ideas for potential improvement, develop basis for investigation and recommends action to the Deputy Director or Director.
- Develop and conduct presentations on studies or projects as may be requested.
- Lead the team of the assistant JV managers and the Commercial Analysts to achieve the unit goals.
- Establish good communication with JV management by conducting frequent visits to the JV and represent the company for any shareholders meetings.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Financial Management or closely related specialty. Post-graduate education or equivalent experience in Finance/Economics is desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience with 5 years relevant experience in the petroleum industry or work associated with the oversight of investments in companies.
- Has proven ability to handle complex problems in a rigorous, analytical fashion. Experience must have been sufficiently broad so as to allow incumbent to be effective in technical, financial and marketing areas.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision on relatively unstructured tasks. Must know how and when to use a variety of statistical, and financial analytical tools and have a working knowledge of petroleum economics, petroleum technology and finance.
- Must have good communication skills and the demonstrated ability to produce quality written and oral reports and presentations, in English.
- Better to have experiences of supporting junior employees.
Petroleum Engineer:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop department procedures, methods, and new techniques in Drilling and Cementing research studies as well as initiate new projects as business needs.
- Interpret and analyze lab data, issue technical reports.
- Conduct seminars, prepare manuals, and train and develop Aramco engineers and operating personnel.
- Participate in technical societies and technical groups.
- Consider all safety related issues and address environmental impact issues to make decisions or develop recommendations.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD degree in Chemistry with 12 years of oilfield chemistry research experience.
- Must have more than 12 years applicable experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in Drilling and Cementing area, including advanced study experience.
- Must be able to lead one aspect in Drilling and Cementing research.
- Ability to interpret lab data and provide technical support for drilling and cementing operations, including QA/QC, application of state-of-the-art technologies and troubleshooting.
- Preferably to be familiar with PE software applications, including Matlab, CMG, Eclipse, UTChem, and Matlab.
