On behalf of Aramco Asia, Saad Allowemi, vice president of Engineering & Technical Services (E&TS), received the AI Strategic Alignment Partner Award from SUPCON on January 23, 2026.

Over the past five years, SUPCON has expanded its footprint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It opened a local office and a manufacturing facility and created a joint research and development task force with Aramco. These efforts aim to accelerate the adoption of robotics and AI technologies in the oil and gas sector. The Aramco China team has played an active role in facilitating communication by strengthening technical exchanges and exploring further collaboration opportunities between SUPCON and Aramco.

Allowemi met with SUPCON Founder Chu Jian, Chairman and CEO George Cui to discuss the future of industrial AI and autonomous operations in the oil and gas industry, as well as to review progress on SUPCON’s manufacturing base in Saudi Arabia. SUPCON also presented the AI Strategic Alignment Partner Award to Aramco Asia in recognition of the long-term and strategic partnership between the parties.
