Children Benefit
“Children Benefit Program” was launched to provide basic medical checkups and necessary follow-up treatment to underprivileged children across China.
Medical staff from top level hospitals like Capital Institute of Pediatrics, Beijing Tongren Hospital, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, and Beijing Hospital of Traditional Medicine offered professional checkups and primary healthcare consultation in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, stomatology, ultrasonography and laboratory. Advanced medical exams are also offered for those who have been diagnosed with potentially severe health conditions.
By end of 2024, the program has benefited approx. 8350 underprivileged children from 13 provinces and regions of Hebei, Liaoning, Ningxia, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Fujian, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Tibet. Among them, 112 kids diagnosed with severe health conditions have received advanced treatment like surgery.
Project Hope
Project Hope joined force with China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF) targeting to bridge the gap of education inequality and support educational development in underdeveloped regions.
From 2019 onwards, Aramco-CYDF partnership under the scope of Project Hope has supported the construction / renovation of 3 “Aramco Asia Hope Schools”, 13 classrooms for performing arts, 15 school libraries, 6 science classrooms, 6 multi-media classroom and 4 basketball courts in less developed regions of Liaoning, Shandong, Zhejiang, Fujian and Yunnan Province.
