Aramco donates three million US dollars in assistance for Beijing and Fujian

Aramco Asia President Mutib A. Al-Harbi delivered a donation from Saudi Aramco to the Chinese Red Cross Society of USD 3 million on November 14. The event was attended by H.E. the Ambassador to China Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, and the Director of Medical & Environmental Aid at King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) Dr. Abdullah Al-Mu’allem.

This disaster relief from Aramco is in response to the typhoons that greatly affected Beijing and Fujian in July and August. The funds will help facilitate aid and sustenance efforts for the affected population. Aramco remains fully committed to the implementation of the relief funds in China. This particular donation demonstrates the Company’s commitment to supporting post-disaster relief as well as long-term recovery and reconstruction, in alignment to its strong social-corporate responsibilities towards its partners in China.
