On November 8, 2023, SAP announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aramco China to further deepen the deployment of cloud-based digital services on the sidelines of the China International Import Expo. We will support them with a cloud-based digital operation system, continuously driving their digital transformation, and achieving enhanced development supporting the lower carbon transformation of the Chinese energy industry.”
Aramco China plans to move its existing ERP system to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This move will help transform its business operations, streamline management, optimize processes, reduce costs, align with the IT framework of its Asia-Pacific headquarters and integrate seamlessly with Aramco's global strategy.
Additionally, by deploying the SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Concur, Aramco China will establish a dual-layer system for comprehensive business management. This will enable real-time monitoring of their workforce, finances, and operations. Aramco can receive support for cross-regional, cross-border comprehensive business cooperation and collaboration, unleashing IT potential, and leading business innovation.
