As one of Aramco Asia’s long-term citizenship endeavors, the “Children Benefit Program” with China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC) and Ifeng.com is designed to provide professional medical checkup and necessary follow-up treatment for underprivileged children.
This year, the program continued to invite medical professionals from renowned hospitals and provided free medical check-ups for up to 1,250 students. These students are from four primary schools in Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Liaoning provinces.
The checkup covers internal medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, stomatology, ultrasonography and laboratory. Advanced follow-up treatment (including surgical treatment) is also offered for those who have been diagnosed with potentially severe health conditions. We also donated medical supplies for school clinics.
Charity program to benefit the community
Aramco has been supporting the “Children Benefit Program” since 2018 and has benefited approx. 8,350 underprivileged children till now.
This program is designed to assist children living in the impoverished regions with all the necessary supports like basic healthcare, education and mental health. The program also aims to draw the attention of the public and call for the whole society to contribute to these significant endeavors.
