Saudi Aramco expands downstream investment in China Zhejiang Free Trade Zone

Saudi Aramco today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with China’s Zhejiang Free Trade Zone, in which the Zhoushan Government emphasized its support for incentivizing Saudi Aramco’s greater investment in Zhejiang’s future downstream growth. The MoU was signed in conjunction with a visit to Saudi Aramco’s headquarters in Dhahran by Yuan Jiajun, Governor of the Chinese province of Zhejiang.

Saudi Aramco today announced for the first time its half-year financial results. The Company’s net income was $46.9 billion for the first half 2019, compared to $53.0 billion for the same period last year. Earnings before interest and tax was $92.5 billion, compared with $101.3 billion a year earlier.
